Faction Wars is where you build, paint and play games of Warhammer and/or Middle Earth and score points for your team! Partake in events to earn extra points and bring in friends to join in. Let’s get hobbying! How it works:
Pick a team! It doesn’t change anything you do so pick one you like the sound of. Then do plenty of hobby to help the faction progress! Faction Wars will start in November and run through December and January, so 3 months of hobby power!
Here are the 4 teams to choose from.
Cogfort Kings
Heroes of the Imperium
Champions of Chaos
DINOSAURS!
Once you get hobby done then come in and show us! Either in person with the models or online through our Facebook, both count towards your team’s score. Coming into store and being apart of our events net you extra points too! Here is our scoring table and the amounts.
Build* a unit: 1 point
Paint* a unit to Battle Ready: 1 point
Paint* a unit to Parade Ready: +2 pts added to a Battle Ready score. (allows you to paint things to battle ready first and then upgrade them later)
Play a game: for each 1000pts you use you get 1 point. (example: 2000pts = 2pts, 4000pts = 4pts)
Enter in the Paint League: 5pts
Enter in a store gaming event: 3pts
Bring a new friend to learn Warhammer in store for the first time: 3pts for each person
*gain +1 point if the unit is at least 3 models
*gain +2 points if the unit is at least 5 models
*gain +3 points if the unit is at least 10 models
Progression:
As we score points with our hobby we will also have a narrative running in store involving the models YOU are working on/finishing. It will be cool and fun so stay tuned for regular updates that we share on Facebook. Only one team can rule so do your best to make that you and your team!
Good luck and have fun!
