FACILITATION & DEVISING WITH DIVERSE COMMUNITIES11 & 12 January

This workshop isn't a lesson but an introduction to the facilitation approach where we will create this workshop bouncing off your needs, questions and inputs. An opportunity to practice key skills in applied theatre: flexibility, adaptability, eye & ears opening to hold the space rather than control it and give the floor back to the group to support empowerment and welcome co-creation.
Perfect for Theatre makers and facilitators keen to facilitate spaces and/or create shows involving non-professional actors of various ages and backgrounds, including marginalised communities.
We will explore various games and tools to help you meet your group, find out about its diverse voices and skills, build trust, and bond the group - using its diversity as an asset.
