Learn the basics of relief printmaking in this one-day fabric printing workshop at The Suffolk Center.In Printmaking Workshop: Fabric Printing, students will decorate usable fabric items while learning about printmaking tools, carving blocks, and beginner-friendly relief printing techniques. Each student will create at least two designs using easy-carve blocks.
Supplies are provided and include one tote bag and one bandana. Students are also welcome to bring smooth fabric items or clothing they would like to print on. Please note that printed pieces may need a day or two to finish curing.
This class involves sharp tools.
