ABOUT THE COMEDIAN
Zimbabwean born and globally raised standup comedian, actor and writer David Kudzai is a natural born entertainer. He’s performed in the U.S, Africa and toured Europe twice. The first time on his own tour “Open To Closure” and the second time opening for TeeJ on “The Alien Everywhere” Tour. He’s also opened shows for Netflix comedians Gilli Apter and Chris Delia.
With sharp, witty punchlines you don’t see coming, David finds humor where most don’t. From describing the smell of a cigarette to shedding light on cultural and societal nuances to reflecting on his personal experiences, current events, love, relationships or life on all three continents that he has performed on, he paints a vivid picture of either reality or fiction.
David’s conversational style and smooth storytelling abilities can take you on a kaleidoscope tour of his wild and hilarious imagination with funny twists and turns while staying on topic and bringing you home.
Perhaps the most impressive skill in his comedy is that none of his material is ever written down. The breakdown from the premise, the setup, to the punchline is all mental gymnastics while layering Easter eggs inside jokes within a joke within a joke. So f*** around, watch this show and you too will find out why hilarious 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘦 𝘍𝘳𝘢 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘱 hailed him as the best!
