About this Event
Our Early Years Sessions are for up to 7yrs old. During each session we investigate aspects of a different theme, introducing new vocabulary and concepts and allow the children to participate in activities using scientific equipment and allowing time for exploration. We must ask parents to stay to support during these sessions. We will provide disposable gloves and aprons for these sessions, as required, but we warn you, the best science is messy science!

28th September : Dancing Milk Magic!
In this eye-catching activity, learners add food colouring to milk and use a drop of washing-up liquid to set the colours in motion. As the colours swirl and dance, they explore how simple chemical reactions and surface tension create movement, making science both fun and visually exciting.
23rd November : Magnet Maze
Create a simple maze and use magnets to guide a pipe cleaner figure along the path without touching it directly. As they play, they explore the forces of magnetism, discovering how magnets can push and pull objects, while building problem-solving and coordination skills.
