Hey Peeps! It's once again time to start thinking about Extra Life. For anyone unfamiliar with Extra Life, it is a 24 hour gaming event aimed at raising money for children's hospitals. Pips and Peeps will once again be raising money for CHEO this year. There is no charge for this event and it is open to everyone and anyone, however we do request that you consider making a donation to the cause. I will post the Extra Life team link here for donations or if you wish to join the team and collect donations that would also be terrific. Donations will also be collected at the door at the time of the event. Cash or Etransfer will be available. All money collected minus the cost of the venue will be donated as a lump sum. We have once again rented the Cornwall Senior Citizens Club as we did for last Extra Life and Pips and PeepsCon. Roger and I will be bring some games but not as many as with the convention. Participants are encouraged to bring their own games as our selection will be limited. Should you wish us to bring a particular game, message us and we will try to accommodate. We will have a small snack bar on hand however participants are encouraged to plan their meals. Following suit from last year, we will once again be breaking up the event into 2 days rather than running for 24 hours straight. This is due to it being at the Senior Citizens Club. It will run from 8am until 11pm on Saturday November 14th and 8am until 5pm on Sunday November 15th. Pips and Peeps staff will be on hand to facilitate snack bar requests and may assist with teaching you simpler titles however at Extra Life, unlike at Pips and PeepsCon, we enjoy gaming with and along side you. So please refrain from asking us to teach any heavy hitting titles. We are looking forward to gaming again with everyone for this great cause. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to message us and we will do our best to answer them.https://dd.extra-life.org/teams/74324
