£75.00pp.Join professional wildlife artist Rosie Smith for an inspiring day of expressive oil painting at Alford Craft Centre.
During this workshop, you’ll paint a striking, expressive owl using the alla prima technique, working wet-on-wet to create a painting full of movement, energy and beautiful painterly brushwork.
You’ll explore how to use confident brushstrokes, blend and layer colours, and capture the character and movement of your subject in a loose, expressive style.
Working on a generous 40 × 40 cm board, you’ll have plenty of space to experiment with colour and texture and create a bold, atmospheric owl painting to take home.
Suitable for beginners and those with some painting experience, with demonstrations and individual guidance throughout the day.
All materials and refreshments are provided.
