Join us at Liberation Art Gallery in Brighton for a calming, playful workshop exploring the beauty of ink, water, and movement.

Inspired by the ebb and flow of the sea, this session invites you to let go of control and discover the freedom of fluid painting. Using liquid inks, water, and simple techniques, you’ll create expressive seascapes shaped by movement, chance, and intuition.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll experiment with:

• Flowing ink techniques using water, tilting, and layering
• Creating soft, atmospheric seascapes and wave-like forms
• Responding to movement rather than trying to “paint perfectly”
• Letting natural patterns emerge in unexpected ways

No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play.

• No drawing or painting skills required

This workshop is designed as a mindful, restorative experience.

You'll be guided into intuitive mark-making and flow-based techniques. Working with ink and water encourages you to release control, stay present, and enjoy the process, making it a powerful way to enjoy the creative process.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand.that plans can change, and we do our best to be fair whilst protecting the sustainability of our workshops.

• Cancellations or date changes must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled.workshops
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop or non attendance on the day are non-refundable

• As a good-will gesture, we are happy to to offer a transfer to a future workshop of equal value subject to availability when at least 48 hours notice is given
• Workshop credits must be used within 3 months of the original workshop date and cannot be exchanged for cash
• We are unable to offer refunds or workshop transfers for same-day cancellations. As materials, artist fees and staffing are already commited.
