RECLAIMING LOST FRACTALS
There are parts of us we stop expressing
Not because they disappeared.
Because somewhere along the way, it stopped feeling safe to be them.
- The outspoken one learned to stay quiet.
- The playful one learned to behave.
- The sensual one learned to hide.
- The angry one learned that her voice was dangerous.
- The dreamer learned to be realistic.
- The sensitive one learned not to feel so much.
- The wild one learned to fit in.
And sometimes we give our power away because, at the time, we genuinely needed to.
- To be accepted.
- To be loved.
- To belong.
- To survive.
- To keep the peace.
- To avoid rejection.
- To make sense of something that didn't make sense.
In spiritual and energetic language, this can be understood as fractalization — aspects or expressions of ourselves becoming separated from our everyday awareness and experience.
- I don't see this as being broken.
- I don't believe we are walking around as incomplete people waiting to be fixed.
- I see it as personal power becoming unavailable to us.
And what has become unavailable can sometimes be reclaimed.
- Not by forcing it back.
- Not by digging endlessly into the past.
- Not by becoming who we once were.
But by creating enough safety, awareness and choice for those qualities to become available again.
You might suddenly realise:
- I used to dance.
- I used to laugh like that.
- I used to say exactly what I thought.
- I used to create without worrying whether it was good enough.
- I used to trust myself.
- I used to say no.
- I used to feel alive in my body.
Perhaps that isn't nostalgia.
Perhaps something in you is asking to come home.
So instead of asking:
“What's wrong with me?”
Try asking:
“What part of myself is ready to be reclaimed?”
- Then pause.
- Notice.
- And choose one small way to express it.
- Put the music on.
- Speak the truth.
- Make the thing.
- Wear the colour.
- Move your body.
- Say no.
- Say yes.
- Rest.
- Create.
- Laugh.
- Take up space.
Not because you need to become someone else.
But because more of you is becoming available to you again.
This is sovereignty.
Not controlling yourself.
Not controlling your life.
But having access to more of yourself — and having the freedom to choose what you do with it.
You are not broken.
You are becoming more fully available to yourself.
And perhaps reclaiming isn't about calling the old pieces back at all.
Perhaps it's about saying:
“I remember you. I welcome you.
You don't have to disappear anymore.”
