LIVONIA MALL was at Seven Mile and Middlebelt Roads in Livonia, Michigan.
The vacant 330,000 square foot Sears building is still on the property.
The mall was demolished about 2005 to build a giant Walmart Supercenter.
Behind the Sears building is a portion of the mall that was not demolished. This is a 15,000 foot space that was Joann. This store and the mall hallway have been used by the property owner for over 18 years for storage.
Now, the property owner has offered this space to host
EXPO MICHIGAN MARKETPLACE.
An opportunity, a showplace for local people to start a business or sell products and offer services.
FOOD is the key.
There are hundreds of independently owned restaurants within 10 miles of Seven Mile and Middlebelt location. We want to attract 10-20 different local restaurants every weekend to rent spaces and sell a few of your specialties. All food produced at your location and transported in plastic to go packaging for retail sales. They may need to be chilled or wamed on location.
