We may think we know Snow Canyon—but how much do we really notice when we explore its trails and landscapes?
Join Cheyenne Winchester, Naturalist at Snow Canyon State Park, for a closer look at the natural and historical treasures found throughout this beloved Southern Utah destination.
Cheyenne will explore the different types of landscapes within the park and introduce us to some of its fascinating features, including Utah yucca, wild rhubarb, sandstone potholes, moqui marbles, and remnants of pioneer heritage.
As a naturalist and educator, Cheyenne enjoys helping visitors of all ages discover the natural world and develop a greater sense of curiosity and stewardship for the places they visit.
Come see Snow Canyon from a new perspective and discover some of the details that make this landscape so special.
Free and open to the public. No registration required. Handicap accessible.
Events supported by grants from the City of St. George RAP Tax, Utah Division of Arts & Museums, and Washington County RAP Tax.
