Have tons of fun at our jam-packed, fun and faith-filled day camps! Explore the property with time for discovery, games, crafts, ecology programming, visiting the animals, prayer, and more!
The Catholic Ecology Center sits on nearly 60 acres, part of a 225-acre preserve complex, of diverse habitats including prairies, forests, the Rubicon River, Otter Creek, a pond, and organic gardening areas.
Explorer Day Camps are for kids ages 5-12 years old. Camps run from 9:30am-2:30pm.
Tuesday, July 14th: Out On A Limb
From tiny saplings to ancient giants, bask in the wonder of our trees and forests. Look inside of a tree to discover how they grow so tall and strong. Learn the incredible way that they move water all the way from under the ground to fantastic heights, higher than any human-made system can go.
Learn how the incredible gift of photosynthesis makes all life on Earth possible. Examine the patterns of bark and the shapes of leaves to get to know our local trees and their names.
Discover the most important tree ever in the story of salvation: "Faithful Cross the Saints rely on, Noble tree beyond compare!"
**Important Notes:
New this year: you may request up to two campers to be in a group with. We will do our best to honor these requests. Please note that requests are not guaranteed.

There are a limited number of free Teen Helper spots for kids ages 13-17 years old who would like to help with a group for the day. Please select Teen Helper tickets as an "Add On" item.
All campers need to come with water bottles and lunches.
Online registration only. Ticket sales close at 3pm the day before the camp.
Refunds not available within two weeks of the camp date.
