About this Event
Come and learn all about these amazing insects that glow in the dark! Try your hand at catching one and enjoy some relaxing time around the fire with s'mores!
Family-friendly and open to all. Please note: this is not a drop-off event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Friday Night Fires run from 7:00 - 8:30 pm and meet in our Ecology Yurt. (see map below)
Participants can park in our main parking lot, use the restrooms in the main building, and walk to the Yurt through our beautiful butterfly garden or on the paved road.
There is an outdoor latrine (double occupancy) adjacent to the Yurt.
Please bring flashlights, bug spray, and a reusable water bottle.
Individual and Family tickets are available. An individual ticket is for one person. A family ticket covers all immediate family members.

Walk-ins welcome. Purchasing tickets in advance helps us prepare and is very appreciated! Walk-ins should arrive by 6:50 pm and pay via cash, check, or Venmo at the Yurt. Credit card payments are not available for walk-ins.
Refunds are available up to two weeks before the event.
