Join us with your little ones as we explore the wonders of the natural world together!
Nature Sprouts is a gentle, engaging introduction to outdoor discovery for toddlers and their caregivers, designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and joy through hands-on experiences in nature.
Each session includes story time, sensory play, guided outdoor exploration, and simple activities that help children interact with the world around them in age-appropriate ways. The program is relaxed, welcoming, and encourages caregivers to participate alongside their child.
Programs meet in St. Francis Hall and run from 10:00–11:30 AM. Families are welcome to stay afterward to continue exploring, play outside, or enjoy lunch on the grounds.
Wednesday, July 15th: Cloud Watchers
Look up and let your imagination soar! We will spend the morning lying in the grass, spotting shapes in the clouds, listening to the wind, and noticing how weather changes throughout the day. Simple activities include making cloud art, matching cloud shapes, and walks while learning the science behind rain. This sensory-filled morning inspires wonder at God’s sky, encourages curiosity about the world above, and gives little ones a chance to relax and explore nature from the ground up!
**Important Notes:
Your first ticket is for you and 1 child. If you have more children in the age group, please purchase an additional ticket for each child. To ensure we have enough supplies, please purchase additonal tickets for any older siblings who would like to be active participants. Children less than 2 years old are free.
A themed snack will be provided. Please be sure to report any allergies when registering.
