On November 28–29, downtown will come alive as visitors gather for the annual Waterloo Christmas Walk, a beloved holiday tradition presented by Explore Waterloo Illinois.For one festive weekend, our charming streets become a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, Santa's Cottage, horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday shopping, delicious dining, live entertainment, and family activities that create memories for generations.
Explore Waterloo Illinois is a volunteer-driven organization made up of local merchants, service providers, and community partners who work year-round to create events and experiences that encourage people to shop, dine, and explore locally.
From Christmas Walk and Santa's Cottage to Witches Night Out and other community favorites, our mission is to make Waterloo a destination visitors love and a hometown residents are proud to call their own.
