We invite you to join us aboard one of our tall ships for Explore the Coast, our monthly, bilingual educational experience and exploration sail. The ship departs from the dock at 6th and Harbor for a 2-hour round trip excursion along the coastline.
As an educational sail, Explore the Coast includes on-board, hands-on, and scientific activities with trained bilingual (Spanish) docents and engaging materials. Families and children welcome! All minors must be accompanied by an adult, and children must be 10 years or older.
This monthly educational sail is free thanks to the support of Marathon Petroleum. By improving coastal awareness, we hope to also raise environmental awareness that leads to personal action. This will help reduce marine plastic pollution and other human impacts to our local coastline and marine organisms.
