Fall bloom is in full swing and it's time to get out to the wilder areas to check out what plants grow on their own in Charlottesville.About this Event
Join me on a walk around Azalea Park to find what's growing there that's native to our town. I will be using iNaturalist as my ID app. I wish I knew all the plants by heart, but that's why we're doing this, to learn more!
I have done this a few times before, so I know some areas we can go to that will have good plants to ID, but we'll also explore wherever we'd like to go, so dress accordingly. There's definitely long grasses and a stream crossing, should we choose to go that direction.
