Expert 121 with Karla Wells, Financial Planner - Worthing Library
Book a free 40 minute in-person session, choose from a selection of dates and times to suit you. Once you've registered, we'll pass on your details (name and email address) to Karla, who might contact you with some questions regarding your meeting.
Some of the areas that Karla can discuss with you;

- Key financial considerations for individuals, families and business owners
- Understanding long‑term planning and common financial pitfalls
- How to ask the right questions when seeking professional financial advice

Expert biography
Karla Wells DipPFS is a Senior Financial Planner at Pembroke Financial Services, with over 25 years’ experience. She works with individuals, families and business owners, helping them better understand their financial position and the options available to them when planning for the future.
Karla has broad experience across pensions, investments and estate planning, including Inheritance Tax (IHT) awareness and long‑term financial planning considerations. She is particularly experienced in explaining complex financial topics in a clear, practical and accessible way, enabling people to make informed decisions with greater confidence.
At Business & IP Centre sessions, Karla provides general information and guidance only, helping attendees understand how financial planning concepts may be relevant to their personal or business circumstances.

All our expert one-to-one meetings on offer are free, but places are limited as our business expert partners are giving their valuable time to the BIPC and to you for free while fitting these sessions into their busy schedule. Therefore, if you need to cancel the session, to give a chance for others to still book it, please give at least two working days’ notice when possible via:

What is your cancellation policy?
The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited - especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing [email protected].
Can I attend if I'm not a member of the library?
Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library, as it's free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
