About this Event
Join Rachel Clowes of The Sustainable Sequin Company for a playful, experimental workshop exploring recycled sequins and sequin waste.
Using colourful recycled plastic sequin shapes, leftover bespoke florals and punchinella — the patterned waste film left behind when sequins are cut — you’ll layer, cut, fold, bead and manipulate the materials to create your own wearable designs.
Follow Rachel’s floral earring designs or freestyle and experiment with your own ideas. Make them bold and oversized or small and delicate — earrings will be the main focus, but you can also create hair clips or other accessories.
No previous jewellery-making experience is needed. You’ll leave with your own finished pair of earrings or accessory to take home.
