Everyone is invited to participate in a FREE Beginner Argentine Tango Dance Lesson at the start of the concert—no experience or partner required! It's the perfect introduction to the music and dance that have captivated audiences around the world.
Whether you're a longtime tango enthusiast or discovering this vibrant musical tradition for the first time, you'll enjoy an exciting program of authentic Argentine tango performed by the DC Tango Orchestra. This concert is FREE! (Suggested Donation: $15 and/or a can of non-perishable food to donate to a local food bank)

Program Order
Info: The DCTO Concert starts with a beginner tango lesson for anyone who would like to participate! Music Director Brett Lemley and guitarist Yulia Leila will instruct the you how to take your first tango steps! Afterwards, the orchestra tipica (learn more about that term during the concert) performs several traditional tangos and waltzes. You will have room on the dance floor to try out your new dance steps!
