As part of August Craft Month 2026, Feltmakers Ireland is delighted to host an Open Day in Inchicore, Co. Dublin. (We will also have a ).
Workshops
Join us on Sunday, the 16th of August, for an introduction to the art of feltmaking. Participants can create either a simple wet-felted flower or a needle-felted flower in one of our hands-on workshops.
Two workshop sessions will be available:
- Morning session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM - NOW FULL
- Afternoon session: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM - NOW FULL
As we will be teaching groups of participants, workshops will begin promptly at the above times. The workshop session runs for two hours.

Other Activities

- View an exhibition showcasing the wonderful creative possibilities of feltmaking
- Browse and purchase handcrafted felted artworks made by Feltmakers Ireland members
- Explore a display of felted fibres from Irish-raised sheep
- Learn more about Irish wool through our publication, Exploring Irish Wool for Feltmaking, which will be available to view and purchase
