EXPERIENCE PEEL PAINT OUT #1 - FAIRBRIDGE VILLAGE PINJARRA

Welcome to the first of our PADU Experience Peel Paint Outs, open to everyone, throughout the grounds of Fairbridge Village, Pinjarra (or anywhere in the Peel region).
In 1912, Kingsley and Ruby Fairbridge set sail from England to Western Australia, where their dream took root, establishing the world’s first Fairbridge Farm School in 1912, aiming to give underprivileged kids a brighter future.
More than 100 years on, the legacy endures as Fairbridge continues the work, providing programs including camps, education and family-centred accommodation. Today, the spirit lives on as the seeds sowed a century ago continue to blossom.
Fairbridge is a PADU Experience Peel Paint Out favourite; come and experience the rustic charm, rich history, and lush natural surroundings, with the stunning wisteria in bloom. Refreshments available throughout the day from the on site cafe (opens at 9am). Registered artists will be emailed a catering form with the option of pre-ordering ahead of the paint out.
HOW TO EXPERIENCE PEEL AT FAIRBRIDGE VILLAGE:
Pre-requisite: You need to be a fully registered PADU artist to paint at any Plein Air Down Under event between 22 - 29 September, including Experience Peel Paint Outs. Spectators are welcome to come along and watch the artists in action!

1. Ensure painting surfaces are stamped with the EXPERIENCE PEEL stamp. A stamping station will be set up from 8.30 - 10.00am where you will also receive two didactic price cards, and a festival program.
2. On completion, take a photo of your painting with the subject in view.
3. Deliver up to two Experience Peel paintings to the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre by 9.30am Saturday 27 September. Ensure didactic price cards are attached. Experience Peel paintings are to be UNFRAMED to create a “fresh from the easel” feel however watercolours and pastels can have a matt board and protective cellophane.
4. Cast your vote for your preferred Experience Peel painting by 3pm, Saturday 27 September (when you hand in your painting/s, you will be given a voting slip).
