At the occasion of Berlin Art Week 2025, STUDIO DB invited the label OBJETROUVÉ to program a special evening of concert, art and projections within its 4 days Festival ‘Conjugaison du Désir’. The very principle of Objetrouvé label is to combine music with a visual dimension through the creation, for each release, of a limited edition of ‘record-objects’, sculptural covers inspired by the universe of the artists produced. The programme entitled ‘Expanded Dark Sounds’ will feature live performances by bands from the label: the atmospheric and dark dream pop of SIR PERCY and a live performance with video projection by the French musician and visual artist VOLCAN / An exhibition of the latest object-records created by Stereovoid for SOLOIST ANTI POP TOTALIZATION’s new album (sculptural metal covers inspired by the Japanese artist’s futuristic and industrial music) / A special live performance by Stereovoid (La Chatte, Peine Perdue) accompanying one of the Swedish artist SONJA NILSSON’s latest film ’Starfish’. And DJ sets by GRIS and LACRIMAE RERUM that will reflect the dark, synth and wave universe specific to the label's musical catalogue.

SIR PERCY is a Berlin-based duo featuring Erik Haegert - who composes, writes, sings and plays organ - and Jan Rohrbach on bass guitar. Ghostly crooning and sumptuous textures, music like the sweat-drenched awakening from a stifling dream. they released their debut album 'No-name God' on the Objetrouvé label, and have just completed a mini-tour of France.

SONJA NILSSON + STEREOVOID (Video projection + Live)
At the occasion of EXPANDED DARK SOUNDS, Stereovoid (La Chatte, Peine Perdue) proposed Sonja Nilsson a special collaboration, with a musical live act accompanying a projection of one of her latest film and project entitled ’Starfish’ (2023, 11:42).
In the film “Starfish”, the work process in Sonja Nilsson’s studio takes center stage, where, like Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, she sculpts a body made of organic material such as hair, skin and flesh. As the body gradually takes shape, the sculpted (dead) thing begins to feel more and more alive. Even if the attempt to create a human being is ultimately doomed, the creation itself takes on a poignant purpose — akin to a vanitas image — acting as a spur to emotion and self-reflection.
Sonja Nilsson (b. 1977) is a visual artist based in Berlin and Ljusdal, Sweden. Nilsson’s artistic practice spans across installation, video, writing and performance. Her work explores themes of social psychology, subjective experience of reality, and the transient and ephemeral. Her work is represented in the collection of Gothenburg Museum of Art, she has received grants from the Art Academy’s prize committee and Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation.

LACRIMAE RERUM hails from the icy landscapes of Quebec, and since arriving in Berlin has been making her mark on the underground goth, queer and wave scene. She made her debut at Berlin parties as a solo DJ or in collaboration with the Objetrouvé label under the name 'Jour de pluie'. A digger with a passion for rare sounds, she unearths unexpected, strange and cutting-edge tracks from the darkest and most remote gardens of synth, EBM, new wave and new beat.
