Amshot is pleased to host exhibITion: Just Scribblin’, featuring new artwork by Oklahoma City-based multidisciplinary artist Ashton Letton, on Thursday, October 29, from 5pm to 8pm.The opening is free to attend. A suggested $5 wristband donation benefits Curbside Enterprises, which provides income opportunities to people struggling with homelessness in OKC. In addition to viewing the artwork, guests can enjoy light hors-d'oeuvres and beverages. Curbside Enterprises receives 10 percent of art sales, with 90 percent of sales going to the artist.
Ashton’s art features ghosts, birds, and cats used as representations of self, feelings, and memories. Watercolors, acrylic paints, and wax pastels add playful textures, and brighter or softer colors add a lightness to the “sometimes gloomy” subject matter. The pieces in exhibition: Just Scribblin’ combine watercolors for fluidity with crayons to capture what one’s inner child might feel.
Of the show, Ashton says, “Each piece is about finding moments of lightness and growth to persevere even when life is feeling more dreary. It’s all about finding love in the world, and maybe sometimes just being a bit silly to get through the darkness.”
Our sponsor for exhibition: Just Scribblin’ is Magellan Executive Partners. Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Magellan has focused on two core missions for the last 20 years: building organizations that thrive and growing leaders worth following.

What is exhibITion?
As a local business, amshot focuses on IT services and software development, but our team is also passionate about supporting the local art community. With this in mind, we created exhibITion to promote local artists, give back to our community, and enjoy the company of fellow art lovers.
Three times a year, amshot features a local artist's work on our office walls, hosts an art exhibition and sale, invites a local brewery to participate in the event, and donates the proceeds to a charitable organization.
