Formed in the late 1980s, Excelsior Vintage brings you the best of New Orleans Dixieland Jazz. Led ably by Ron Rombol on reeds, this band comprises trombone, trumpet, banjo, saxophone, double bass, and drums.The band also features Cuff Billett, probably the most famous British traditional jazz trumpeter still performing. The six great musicians, with a varied mix, will get your feet tapping to many favourite traditional jazz tunes and some lovely, but rarer, numbers. Great entertainment.

• An excellent group of musicians; we especially enjoyed the keyboard player, who added depth to the music and contrasted well with the other players.

• Great band. Good to see Pete and Andrew Clancy together again. Lots of unusual numbers, which is always good.
