Bridging the Gap from Jazz to Rap:This show will take place between the inaugural Jazz Fest and the official Lowell Hip-Hop Festival. True hip-hop was built on the back of jazz, R&B, and bebop. On Thursday, October 17th, Fee and The Evolutionists along with DJ Myth take over Warp and Weft to flip the script.
We take classic, deep-cut jazz records and samples and evolve them live on stage into modern, organic R&B and hip-hop. No backings. Just raw instruments, heavy rhythm, and real lyricism.
