About this Event

Fine Surrealist Art - Exhibition & Fair

Evgeni Gordiets is an internationally recognized surrealist artist whose evocative paintings blend dreamlike landscapes, poetic still lifes, and an unmistakable sense of mystery. His distinctive artistic language has drawn comparisons to celebrated French masters Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and René Magritte.

Gordiets has been participating in major Ukrainian and Soviet exhibitions since 1977. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions in Paris (1989), New York (1995), Scottsdale and Nantucket (2001), reflecting his international presence and enduring appeal among collectors and art enthusiasts.

His paintings are held in prominent institutional collections, including the Kyiv National Museum of Russian Art, the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Museum of Modern Art in Cologne, as well as museums and collections throughout Ukraine.

In 1990, Gordiets' artwork was featured on the cover of a Christie's auction catalog, further highlighting the recognition his work has received within the international art market.

Today, Evgeni Gordiets' surrealist paintings continue to captivate viewers with their atmospheric beauty, imaginative landscapes, and timeless dreamlike quality.
