EVESHAM LANTERN PARADEby The Battle of Evesham Trust
Thursday 26th Nov (6pm start) Evesham Market Place
FREE TO TAKE PART
Join hundreds of family members in a gentle lantern-lit meander through Evesham Abbey Park ending up at the Illumination of the Tree of Light on Workman Bridge.
The parade is led by Knights of the Battle of Evesham from The House of the Twin Tailed Lion – Evesham's own reenactment group. Along the route, there will be music and dance performances in the park to enjoy.
ALL WELCOME to join in with your own lantern (no naked flames) or perhaps borrow one of ours (limited numbers).
It will be a spectacular sight if you just want to come and watch the hundreds of lanterns wind through Abbey Park, enjoy the music and watch the Tree of Light switch on by the Rotary in the Vale where light refreshments will be available.
