Herbalism starts at home. learn simple, practical ways to use everyday herbs as we move into the fall season.
About this Event

You don’t need 50 jars of herbs or an entire apothecary to start using herbs at home.

Join certified clinical herbalist Sheila of YaMaya’s gift for Everyday Herbs: fall medicine cabinet, a free, hands-on community class designed to make herbalism feel practical, approachable and useful in everyday life.

We’ll explore familiar herbs like ginger, cinnamon, peppermint, fennel, elderberry, thyme and garlic; how they’ve traditionally been used, simple ways to prepare them, basic safety considerations, and ways to incorporate herbs into your home routine.

This isn’t a sit-down-and-listen-to-me-talk-at-you class. We’ll touch, smell, taste, ask questions and learn from each other.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of what may already be sitting in your kitchen and how to begin building a simple fall medicine cabinet without buying every herb you see.
