About Lucia:
I have been a dance therapist for 30+ years. I have worked with a very wide range of people, including residents of psychiatric hospitals, utilising both simple and complex dance movement styles for personal and interpersonal healing and for good old-fashioned fun.
I taught “Everybody Can Dance” workshops in California and have relocated to Edinburgh, where I presented this workshop in Glasgow, sponsored by Sanctuary Queer Arts; at Dance Base in Edinburgh, sponsored by the LGBT Health and Wellbeing Centre; and in Portobello at Porty Pride.
This workshop is delivered as part of the Healing Arts Festival.
