EVERY SHADE MATTERS

Colorism, Community & Collective Healing

An honest conversation about shadeism, bias, belonging, and change.

How often do we stop to consider how skin tone shapes the way we see ourselves—and how we see and treat others?

Colorism is a conversation that crosses cultures, generations, and communities. From beauty standards and family experiences to identity, opportunity, and belonging, its impact is often deeper than we realize.

Join the discussion JustUS Conversations Series for Women for Every Shade Matters: Colorism, Community & Collective Healing, an engaging and thought-provoking discussion that invites us to listen, learn, challenge our perspectives, and explore what healing can look like—together.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Women of all ages, races, and cultural backgrounds, including:

  • Community members and faith leaders
  • Students, educators, and young professionals
  • Nonprofit leaders and community advocates
  • Parents, mentors, and caregivers
  • Anyone interested in exploring colorism, identity, beauty standards, and collective healing
