What if helping create a safer community didn’t require being an expert, saying the perfect thing, or stepping into a situation that feels unsafe? That’s what Green Dot is about.
Join The S.A.F.E. Center for a free, one-hour Community Green Dot Training designed to give everyday people practical ways to recognize concerning situations and respond when something doesn’t feel right.
During this training, we’ll talk about how to:
• Recognize warning signs
• Identify the things that sometimes keep us from stepping in
• Use simple, realistic intervention strategies
• Help create a culture where violence is less likely to happen in the first place
Green Dot is built around the idea that everyone has a role in prevention, and that role can look different for each of us. You don’t have to confront someone directly. Sometimes you distract. Sometimes you delegate to someone else. Sometimes you check in, speak up, or simply make sure someone isn’t left alone in a difficult situation.
Every action matters. Every choice matters. Every dot matters.

A safer community isn’t created by one person doing everything. It’s created by a lot of people willing to do something.
