I am delighted to organise this festive swim in aid of a cause that is very dear to me. My family have been running the Every Child Needs Christmas Campaign for the last 14 years. A project that has been set up to encourage donations of gifts to drop off points and we co-ordinate delivery of these to local children in BS postcoded areas that may otherwise go without 🎄❤️ Community at its finest- and this year I would love to get something going with the Warriors!! So- 7pm on 1st December, head down to Weston Marine Lake suitably festive !! Bright lights, Christmas decorations strewn about you, festive hats: whatever you fancy. Have a paddle board? A canoe? Light them up!! Let’s make a BIG splash.
If you feel able - bring a gift suitable for a child aged 0-16, non edible, new and tagged and around the £7 mark. ❤️❤️
Spread the word. Shout it from the rooftops. Let’s combine two wonderful things : cold water and community.
