In recognition of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, the Virginia Beach Wellness & Prevention Services Unit invites you to a presentation by the Virginia Stage Company of Every Brilliant Thing, funded by Region Five.
The performance “Every Brilliant Thing” is a 1-hour immersive theatre experience that tackles mental health with honesty, humor, and heart. Told from the perspective of a narrator navigating life in the shadow of a parent’s depression, the play blends storytelling, comedy, and audience participation to explore the impact of suicide in a way that uplifts and connects. Join us for this transformative experience that not only entertains but also opens a dialogue about mental health, encouraging us all to find brilliance in the world around us.
