About this Event
This evening workshop is aimed at all levels of knowledge, to help improve your understanding of the weather and aid your adventure planning on the mountains, focusing in on the autumn and winter seasons.
How do inversions happen? What causes hail? Why is the wind so variable?
We'll bring the weather story to life and explain how patterns behave by studying and interpreting weather charts, plus how to look for clues from the clouds when you are out on the hills.
There will be also time to answer any of your questions about our wonderful world of weather.
Meet from 5.30 for 6pm start.
Concludes at 8.30pm, Q & A afterwards optional until 9.00pm.
(Tea/coffee and biscuits available during the evening).
