A Sensory Experience by Alchème Studio ~ Spring Edition
Step into a hidden corner of Hackney Downs, within the space of In Our Neighbourhood Apothecary, for an evening inspired by the magic of spring, where time slows, steam rises, and familiar melodies float through the air.
Whether you come alone or with a friend, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, open atmosphere where conversation flows naturally and new connections can unfold.
What’s Included
• A seasonal welcome brew, shared by everyone as a grounding opening to the evening
• A second tea of your choice, selected from our curated menu and served as traditional Gong Fu tea ritual
• A Japanese-inspired treat (GF, VG)
• A carefully curated soundtrack accompanied by visual elements for an immersive experience
After the shared opening brew, you’ll be invited to choose your own tea, which will be served mindfully in multiple infusions ~ allowing you to explore its aroma, flavour, and character.
The Experience
You’re welcome to chat, listen, observe, or simply be present. You may bring a journal or book to reflect quietly or enjoy conversation and shared moments.
A selection of savoury and sweet treats will also be available for purchase at the venue (mostly GF and VG).
Our intention is to create a space that feels like an exhale, a sensory journey where scent, taste, and sound intertwine.

Unit 36, 230A Dalston Lane, E8 1LA, London.
We're located right next to Hackney Downs station (or a 6 minute walk from Hackney Central station), door to the right of Tesco Express.
On your arrival, please scan the QR code on the door to ring us, this is to prevent the door bell from interrupting the experience.
