About this Event
In honor of International Women’s Day, join us for a gentle evening meditation designed to help you release the weight of the week, restore your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself in a calm, supportive space.
This beginner-friendly session is an invitation to pause. To soften out of constant doing. To acknowledge the many roles, responsibilities, and expectations women carry—and to set them down, even briefly.
Through guided meditation, breath awareness, and simple body-based practices, we’ll focus on:
- Releasing physical and mental tension
- Restoring a sense of calm and steadiness
- Reclaiming presence, clarity, and inner strength
No meditation experience is needed. Chairs are provided, everything is guided, and there is no pressure to sit still, clear your mind, or do anything “right.” A busy mind, restlessness, or uncertainty are all welcome here.
This class is especially supportive if you:
- Feel stretched thin or emotionally tired
- Want a gentle way to mark International Women’s Day
- Are curious about meditation but feel unsure or intimidated
- Would like to end the week and begin the next feeling more grounded
You’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself—carrying a sense of steadiness into the week ahead.
Facilitated by Jennifer Heard, Yoga Therapist, using a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach.
Come as you are. This evening is for you.
