Pen Pals follows two women, strangers on opposite sides of the Atlantic, who start writing to each other as teenagers and never stop — not for fifty years. What begins as a pen pal assignment becomes the steadiest relationship of their lives, outlasting marriages, jobs, distance, and everything else that gets in the way.
