Evan Jones Talk for the TFMG's 'Thanksgiving Showcase'

In this presentation, Evan recounts his father's epic journey to Russia in the early 1990's to film the Russian Gem Treasures video. The former Soviet Union's policy of glasnost presented a tremendous opportunity for westerners to visit previously inaccessible museums and institutions to see gems, minerals and amazing lapidary art which Bob Jones took full advantage of. With the guidance and film expertise of Michael Leybov and Ludmila Cheshko of the Russian publication World of Stones, they documented the entire trip ultimately producing one of Bob Jones' most popular gem and mineral videos
