For one evening, New York becomes a meeting place for some of Europe’s most compelling literary voices.
European Literature Night is an annual celebration of contemporary European literature, bringing together acclaimed authors, translators, publishers, and readers to discover new writing from across the continent. Through literature in translation, ELN opens a window onto different cultures, experiences, and perspectives while creating new connections between European writers and American audiences.
Presented by Czech Center New York and EUNIC New York, this year’s edition brings together writers from 14 European countries for an evening of literature, conversation, and exchange at the Ukrainian Institute of America.
Whether you are a passionate reader, a literary professional, or simply curious to discover new voices, European Literature Night offers a unique opportunity to encounter contemporary European writing in the heart of New York City.
