Great music is often born from great collaboration. This concert celebrates the extraordinary performers who inspired Mozart, Weber, and Brahms to create some of the most beloved works in the chamber music repertoire. Mozart’s Oboe Quartet, Weber’s Clarinet Quintet, and Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet were each written for renowned virtuosos whose artistry expanded the possibilities of their instruments and sparked the composers’ imaginations. From Classical elegance to Romantic warmth and introspection, the program reveals how friendship, admiration, and musical partnership can lead to enduring masterworks that continue to captivate audiences today.
