About this Event
A little matcha, a little magic, and a lantern to call your own.
This fall, skip the pumpkin carving and join us for an evening of creativity, matcha, and a touch of witchy whimsy. We’re designing ethereal paper lanterns to decorate our homes, set intentions, and bring a little magic into our everyday spaces.
Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply looking for a creative night out, this guided workshop will walk you through the art of paper cutting, layering, and gluing to create your very own paper lantern. You'll have plenty of room to experiment, follow your intuition, and let your imagination run wild, while we will also have some templates if what you prefer is mostly crafting the lantern.
All materials are included, and your matcha is on us. Just bring yourself and your creative spirit. Leave with a handmade lantern ready to hang in your home and a little more magic in your day.

About Craft Nights
Design Bodega is building Craft Nights, a monthly creative gathering that brings together designers, artists, and curious minds in NYC.
The idea is simple: an excuse to step away from our screens, meet new people, and make something with our hands.
Each month, we'll explore a different material, technique, or creative practice through thoughtfully curated, hands-on workshops. We hope to bring together one local artist and one local brand for each edition, creating experiences that celebrate creativity, community, and the joy of making things.
More than just a workshop, we envision Craft Nights as a recurring space for creative exchange, new connections, and unexpected collaborations.
