About this Event
Join Sustainable Connexions for Essence of Ghana, a celebration of culture, connection and youth leadership on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at the EMCC Leadership & Legacy Campus.
Discover how Through the Eyes of Youth, Sustainable Connexions’ signature program, is broadening the worldview of young people in Indianapolis and Ghana. Through photography, cultural learning and servant leadership, participants explore their potential, tell stories through their own lenses and learn to make a difference in their communities.
Enjoy a vibrant cultural experience featuring Ghanaian cuisine, art, artifacts and Afrobeats by Dwnani Phiri. Connect with others who share a commitment to helping young people grow as leaders while learning about Sustainable Connexions’ work across two continents.
Come celebrate the power of connection—and the possibilities that emerge when young people see themselves and the world with fresh eyes.
