L'esperienza è organizzata da Worldrise all'interno del progetto SEATY - Area di Educazione Marine Locale realizzato con il supporto di Fondazione PLUM e il patrocinio del comune di Loiri Porto San Paolo.
L’attività inizia con una breve introduzione sull’ecosistema costiero con particolare attenzione all’importanza della Posidonia oceanica e alle specie che è possibile osservare lungo la costa come polpi, ricci, anemoni e stelle marine.
A seguire, entrerai in acqua insieme al gruppo per un’attività guidata in mare.
Maschere e boccagli sono disponibili per chi non ne è provvisto, ma è consigliato portare la propria attrezzatura.
L’esperienza è pensata per piccoli gruppi (circa 10 partecipanti) e ha una durata di circa 30 minuti, variabile in base alle condizioni meteo-marine.
Il punto di incontro è l'infopoint di Worldrise situato vicino il gazebo bianco e azzurro della Lega Navale di Porto San Paolo.
Si richiede di presentarsi 5–10 minuti prima dell’inizio per il check-in.
IMPORTANTE: dopo la prenotazione, verrà inviata via email una liberatoria da firmare prima del check-in. La firma è obbligatoria per partecipare all’attività.
Join a free snorkeling experience led by a marine biologist and discover the marine biodiversity up close.
The experience is organized by Worldrise as part of the SEATY - Local Marine Education Area, carried out with the support of Fondazione PLUM and under the patronage of the Municipality of Loiri Porto San Paolo.
The activity begins with a short introduction to the coastal ecosystem with a special focus on the importance of Posidonia oceanica and the marine species that may be observed along the coastline such as octopuses, sea urchins, anemones, and starfish.
Afterwards, you will enter the water together with the group for a guided snorkeling experience.
Masks and snorkels are available for participants who do not have their own equipment, although bringing your own equipment is recommended.
The experience is designed for small groups (around 10 participants) and lasts around 30 minutes, depending on sea and weather conditions.
The meeting point is the Worldrise infopoint located near the white and blue gazebo of the Porto San Paolo Sailing Club.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the scheduled start time for check-in.
IMPORTANT: After booking, a liability waiver will be sent by email and must be signed before the check-in. Signing the waiver is mandatory in order to participate in the activity.
