All are invited to an All-Bach Concert on the 1970 van Beckerath organ at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Millburn, NJ. I have designed a program titled "Chamber Music for One," highlighting organ works of the great master which (perhaps more than others) resemble music for a chamber instrumental ensemble. The program:Concerto in D Minor (after Vivaldi), BWV 596
Fugue in G Major ("Jig"), BWV 577
Trio Sonata No. 5 (complete), BWV 529
Partita on "Sei gegrüßet, Jesu gütig," BWV 768
There is a suggested donation at the door, and a reception following.
I hope you are able to attend!
