from the Blues, Country Blues and all shades of Americana.
His influences and mentors range from Eric Bibb, Guy Clark
to Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke, Lighting Hopkins and Mississippi John hurt
among others. He calls his singing and guitar style "heavy mellow"
as he doesn't play loud guitars nor does he shriek or howl his lyrics.
Think JJ Cale or Lyle Lovett but with West Coast sensibilities.
