Join the Crew: Equestrian Volunteer Orientation Our voices were heard at the board meeting, and our ride-along with park management proved we are ready to partner. Now, it’s time for the "boots on the ground" part of our mission!
We’ve been officially invited to grow the equestrian presence in the park's volunteer community. This is how we ensure that signage gets replaced, trails get cleared, and our seat at the table remains permanent.
Where: Pocahontas State Park Visitor Center
 When: Saturday, November 14th | 10:00 AM – Noon
Who should attend?
Anyone who has submitted a volunteer application.
Anyone interested in becoming a DCR volunteer or joining the Friends of Pocahontas State Park (FOPSP).
Anyone who wants to be part of the Saturday workdays we are planning for the Bright Hope trails.
Greg and Nate are ready to work with us, and I’ll be there to help lead the way. Let’s show the park that equestrians are ready to step up and give back to the trails we love.
See you there!
