This Wednesday, the 28th of October, come join us at the comfiness of The Peep Shop with EPSON and the presentation of their most recent work: Mixed SignalsMixed Signals is a performance based on playfulness and artefact discovery, where video and audio signals bleed into one another. An assembled body of 2 video mixers and 2 audio mixers - fed by a sampler - corrupt original design purposes of integrated electrical systems.
In this performance, signals stemming from noise – both audio and composite one - get amplified, manipulated and presented with structure within the improvisation motto.
The workshop will cover the setup used during the performance, as well as the performative structure and basics of signal processing and feedback loops. Therefore, feel free to bring your hardware to add up to the chain and jam. Physical copies of the performance will be available for purchase.
