About this Event
EPIC 8th-12th Grade Students,
Join us for a field trip on Thursday, November 5th to the National Cowboy & Western Museum for an amazing day at Adventures in Ag! For more information about Adventures in Ag read below and click the link at the bottom of the page.
What is Adventures in Ag? On this day, 8th-12th grade students will connect with agriculture-related organizations and discover science, technology, engineering, and math-related careers. Learn about careers in farming, ranching, and agricultural businesses. Hear from keynote speaker Amanda Radke, agricultural spokesperson, podcaster, and author. Radke provides an empowering message for kids to chase their dreams while giving them the tools they need to effectively utilize social media to advocate for agriculture, brand themselves, and carve out opportunities in the field of their choice!

You will register using Eventbrite, which will hold your spot for the field trip as a reservation. This enables the school and the location to staff and plan appropriately.
Pathways Students: Pathways students may only participate when attending with their own enrolled Epic child. Please register as a guest, not as a student, since student reservations are for students age 18 and under only.
Service Animals: Families, please contact the location directly to confirm whether service dogs are allowed.
Sign Language Services: To request a sign language interpreter for an Epic student at this event, please use this link: ASL Request Link. Requests must be submitted at least 72 hours in advance of the event. The link can also be found on the Epic under the About tab → Requests & Forms.
Media Policy: This is a public event and photographs and/or video may be taken during the activity. If you prefer your student not to have a photograph or video taken, please let our Epic staff know during check-In.
Cancellations: How do I cancel my reservation? To cancel the reservation and allow other students to attend in those spots, you will go to the email sent from Eventbrite with the subject line: Your Tickets for the Cowboy & Western Adventures in Ag field trip. Then scroll to the bottom of the email and click the words "View and Manage your online order." This will open up spots for other families and is very important, as the location needs accurate numbers before we arrive.
What is the inclement Weather Plan? If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Eventbrite to let you know if the field trip has been canceled.
