About this Event
Join Ensemble Cambrica for an evening of exhilarating orchestral music featuring three masterpieces by Mozart, Prokofiev and Beethoven.
The programme opens with the sparkling energy of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro Overture, followed by the wit, elegance and virtuosity of Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 ‘Classical’. The evening culminates in Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 3 ‘Eroica’ — a work that changed the course of the symphony forever.
Presented in partnership with the International Conducting Academy, the concert is the culmination of an intensive week of music-making and rehearsals under the guidance of renowned conducting pedagogue Colin Metters, with conductors from around the world taking to the podium.
